Goalpara Diaries 2: Quietly Flows the River

Spread The Love

This is the second set of photographs from Goalpara district.

The first lot can be found here.

The hinterlands in Assam are all about rivers and paddy fields. So, that is what I bring you today. Here is the dried up but still navigable Dudhnoi river in the spring.

The emerald green crops were also freshly being planted at that point of time.

I also took a few shots near the Assam-Meghalaya border and as a matter of fact I am not sure on which side they are. But I liked the blazing, brick red trail tearing apart the green.
