Lug Valley or Lag Valley is located in Kullu district. It’s a secluded area that was once known for timber trade. It is one of the most beautiful areas, a detour from busy town of Kullu, full of fecund villages brimming with fruit orchards. Sainj Valley is part of Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), UNESCO World Heritage Site in Himachal Pradesh. Much to do here including treks, cultural experiences, majestic meadows, tower temples, and village homestays in Shangarh, Upper Neahi, Deori, Raila, and Shanshar.
Churah is a region 60-70 KM northwards of Chamba, on the feet of Sach Pass (4400 meters). Tissa/Bhanjraru is the main town here but the most important heritage village is Devikothi with its famous temple. There are many other villages here, the most noteworthy one being Bairagarh, because it is located on the highway leading to Sach Pass.
The Dainkund Peak Trek starting point is located close to Rakhed, around 13-14 KMs from Dalhousie town. It’s at an altitude of around 2200 meters with the Pohlani Mata Temple & clear views of Manimahesh Kailash.
Raila region is somewhat secluded from the main Shangarh -Shanshar route of Sainj Valley. The diversion is at some point between Sainj and Ropa. There are many villages here and primary attractions are it’s tower temples and some open meadows higher up.
