Rain Noir

Well, I’ve hit another lean patch for the lack of time and motivation. Nevertheless, that day when it rained for the first time, I managed to experiment a few shots.

The combination of rain, streetlights and struggling passersby was comparatively compelling. Of course a dream situation would have been a gunfight in those dark alleys with me surveying from the top. But then, I never get what I want. So, as of now, have a look at the banality that was made slightly more interesting by the lighting, the weather god and some random post processing.

For those who are still interested, I tried some of the fancy effects like “Duo-Tone” that Picasa has robbed from Picnic in recent times…
