The Dainkund Peak Trek starting point is located close to Rakhed, around 13-14 KMs from Dalhousie town. It’s at an altitude of around 2200 meters with the Pohlani Mata Temple & clear views of Manimahesh Kailash.

Dzukou Valley Trek again, but with Dzukou Lilies in full bloom in May & helped by clear weather. Summer seems the best season here. Tried the Jakhama Route too.
The usual Valley of Flowers route is Haridwar-Rishikesh-Rudraprayag-Chamoli-Joshimath-Govindghat and then trek to Ghangaria where you stay the night. The next day trek to VoF & come back. Hemkund Sahib is another route from Ghangaria and will take another day. Budget travellers can do it for INR 3000-4000 from Delhi.
Chalal is a small village near Kasol. A walk to it offer great views along the Parvati Valley and in the spring apricot blossoms wash it with surreal pink hues.
