In order to overcome the socialist guilt of excessive consumption at McLeod Ganj, I decided to undertake the Triund Trek the next day.
Barot is a secluded valley watered by the rivers Uhl and Lamba Dug, at an altitude of 1800 meters. This area is also called Chauhar or Chuhar Valley. It is located on the border of Kangra and Mandi districts. The area beyond Barot is Chota Bhangal, followed by remote Bara Bhangal.
