OK, this is not a single picture. I was desperate to shoot something like this on that very night, the night of Eid-ul-fitr. (For the uninitiated, it is a very important Islamic festival that is marked by the sighting of the crescent moon with the star).
I got a couple of decent moonshots. I got the night landscapes of Mumbai but by the time I’d perfected my settings, the moon was gone. So I added two files using the most primitive of all tools, MS Paint. I have turned it into monochrome in Picasa just to hide the deficiencies.
